Seasonal Booking Workflow
We rebuilt how manufacturing partners reserve lavender lots ahead of the harvest window. The old process relied on email threads and manual spreadsheets, which caused double bookings and idle truck time during peak weeks. This project replaced that with a fixed calendar of release dates, firm cut-off times, and a queue that only opens when confirmed growing capacity is available. The main tradeoff was simplicity over flexibility: partners get three booking windows per season, not unlimited slots. That keeps our greenhouse teams predictable and lets us commit to delivery dates we can actually meet. The workflow now handles roughly sixty percent of our scheduled pickups without a single coordinator touch, and the remaining requests follow a clear escalation path when a partner needs an exception.
